Auckland police arrest man on sexual violation, abduction charges

Police investigating a series of rapes in Auckland have arrested a 30-year-old digger driver from Panmure.
The man is appeared in court on charges including sexual violation and abduction. They relate to an attack in February last year in Grafton.
Police executed a search warrant at the man's address in the morning as part of continuing investigations into a series of alleged rapes during the past 18 months.
Detective Sergeant Andy King says files are being examined to determine whether any unresolved complaints are linked.
